Thank you for visiting PEKABOUT SHIH TZU. We are located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We lovingly raise these wonderful, gentle little dogs, and their health and well-being is very important to us. We do not have a kennel, as all our dogs live with us as part of our family. As a result, our dogs are well socialized, get much TLC, and puppies are available occasionally. |

The Shih Tzu (pronounced Shid zoo) also referred to as 'The Little Lion Dogs', came to China during the Manchu Dynasty from Tibet as gifts from the Grand Lamas to the Imperial Palace in Peking. Many generations of Shih Tzu were bred and lived as Royalty in the Palace. Occasionally, Royalty and high ranking officials of other countries were given a puppy as a special gift from the Royal Kennel. In the early 1930's, a few puppies went to Great Britain, Ireland and Scandanavia. And later, from there, were exported to America, and we now breed the beautiful little Shih Tzu of today. |

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit will hold your puppy for you. All puppies leave with an up-to-date vaccination record. Also provided is a health guarantee, as well as a signed Canadian Kennel Club non-breeding agreement. We feed only premium dog and puppy food, to ensure proper nutrition. |
